Fairfax Citgo Carwash

You need $5 in actual quarters to operate the pressure washer but the kiosk operator can give you change if you give them cash. 5 dollars give you 5 minutes of pressure wash with different types of cleaners. If you need a quick wash for your car and don't mind doing it yourself, this is a very affordable alternative. The place is on the older side so no frills.

A great place for those who enjoy washing their own car. The wash costs $5 for 5 minutes and offers various modes like foam and rinse. The vacuum is $2, and it gives enough time. The drying area is spacious as well.

Fairfax, VA area. One of only a few places around to DIY car wash. Good enough.

This place is very busy. Gas is usually a few cents less than everywhere surrounding it. The car wash is ALWAYS busy. It's a do it yourself, which I like, but can be crowded & irritating when multiple cars are waiting behind you which makes u feel rushed. Also. It's on a really inconvenient corner.

Works good most of the time, it’s a 2 bay wash area with 1 coin machine and 2-3 vacuums. Self-service car wash’s are in VERY short supply in Fairfax county for some odd reason (probably overhead in this high dollar area) but this is one of few. The owner tries to keep up on the high maintenance of these type of services/wash bays, but the high demand and heavy volume of use, plus inconsiderate users leads to failure of the machines (spray wand/soap brush) on occasion. Price per wash is $5.00 and gives you an allotted time to wash, depending on size of vehicle/item, the $5.00 to start wash should be enough to satisfy, you can always add more $ before the time runs out. Always check the bristles on the soap brush before use as an unkempt or dropped brush can have rocks or sand leftover in it leading to paint swirls/scratches. In freezing weather the machines may not work. The kiosk for both bays takes cash bills, change, and card. The odds of both of them accepting all forms of payment during the same is unlikely, so be aware of that and be prepared as to not hold up the line. The vacuum prices are decent at $1.50 for 3 minutes and they sure do suck (in a good way like vacuums are
